Andy Stout has been working with computers since 1986, but became serious about fixing them when he gained his Associates of Applied Sciences in Computer Internetworking Technologies with high honors from College of DuPage in 2014. Though his specialties lie in networking, network security, and digital forensics, his love is cracking open computers and fixing them from the inside out. He gained the CompTia A+ and Network+ PC Technician certificate, as well as the System Support Specialist certificate from COD. Andy has also acquired the Network+, A+, and Security+ certifications from CompTia. In addition, he also holds the AccessData Certified Examiner Computer Forensics Technician certification from AccessData. His other degrees include a BA in Communications and Theatre from Purdue University and an MFA from Northern Illinois University.
When he isn’t hammering away at the keyboard, Andy is active with his other passion: TV and Film stunt work. You may catch him on a Chicago Fire or Chicago PD episode if you tune in!
